This Privacy Policy explains how the rustpdf.dev website handles personal data. There is no account and no purchase. We collect as little as possible.
1. The library collects nothing
The rust-pdf software runs entirely on your own machines. There is no network callback, no telemetry and no usage tracking from the software, and Your documents never leave your infrastructure.
2. Cookies
By default the website sets only cookies strictly necessary to operate. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how the site is used. Those analytics cookies load only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you choose "Reject", no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser. IP addresses are anonymized.
3. Server logs
The web host records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability, retained for a short period.
4. Processors we use
- Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DNS and edge TLS in front of the website.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — privacy-friendly analytics, loaded only after consent (Section 2).
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and LGPD), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact the project.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
